Heavy-Duty Fastcut Flanged Branch for Large-Diameter Mains
The Fastcut flanged electrofusion branch saddle is a heavy-duty solution for online tapping and hot work on large PE mains from DN250 to DN630. It combines a standard electrofusion saddle with a factory-welded stub flange and backing ring assembly (PCD to EN 1092-PN16) — ideal for connecting flanged components such as valves, meters and bypass equipment without additional adapters.
Available with DN150, DN200 or DN250 flanged outlets, the saddle uses a sacrificial under strap / under clamp to lock the fitting in place during the weld cycle; it can be retained in-situ after installation. A rising pin fusion indicator allows easy monitoring of the fusion process and provides permanent confirmation once welding is complete.
Manufactured from virgin PE100 black polyethylene with manual pin 4.0mm. Pressure rating depends on SDR: SDR11 — Water PN16 / Gas 10 Bar; SDR17 sizes (400×250 and 450-500×DN150-DN250) — Water PN10 / Gas 6 Bar. Suitable for gas, water, wastewater, irrigation and mining applications. Operating temperature: -10°C to +40°C.
