45° Spigot Elbow PE100 SDR 9 — PN20 Potable Water Butt Fusion Fitting
The PE100 45° spigot elbow (SDR 9) is the PN20 wall class of the butt fusion programme — rated Water PN20 and approved for potable (drinking) water supply. Its 45° sweep redirects distribution mains with minimal head loss, making it the standard choice for water reticulation, service connections and utility networks.
Manufactured from virgin PE100 black polyethylene supplied by recognised polymer leaders such as Borealis and Ineos, our spigot elbows carry full batch traceability. The one-piece moulded construction produces a smooth bore with no seams, maximising flow and eliminating stress concentration points. Long spigot ends give the welder generous clamping and fusion space, while factory-chamfered ends follow DVS 2207 / ISO 21307 welding procedures.
The range covers d20mm to d500mm, with d25-315mm held as standard stock and larger sizes produced on request. Each fitting is individually marked with size, SDR, standard and batch codes.

Why SDR 9?
SDR 9 provides the balanced heavy wall preferred by water authorities for distribution mains — stronger than SDR 11/17 classes while staying lighter and more economical than SDR 7.4. It is the default wall class for many municipal potable water specifications.
