45° Spigot Elbow PE100 SDR 17 — Light-Wall Water & Gas Butt Fusion Fitting

The PE100 45° spigot elbow (SDR 17) is the light-wall, economy direction-change fitting — rated Water PN10 and Gas 6 Bar. It is the workhorse of gravity-fed farm water supply and rural water reticulation, where cost per fitting matters and pressures stay low.

Manufactured from virgin PE100 black polyethylene supplied by recognised polymer leaders such as Borealis and Ineos, our spigot elbows carry full batch traceability. The one-piece moulded construction produces a smooth bore with no seams, and the lighter SDR 17 wall saves material and weight on long rural pipelines while still meeting PN10 duty.

The range covers d20mm to d500mm, with d25-315mm held as standard stock and larger sizes produced on request. Each fitting is individually marked with size, SDR, standard and batch codes.

Why 45° for Rural Networks?

Rural and farm pipelines follow terrain — fences, paddocks and roads — so frequent gentle 45° turns are more practical than sharp 90° bends. The 45° elbow also keeps butt fusion weld stress low, reducing joint failures in trench conditions.
