SDR 17 Light-Wall 90 Degree Multi Bend PE100 Sweep Bend for Farm Stream Crossings and Rural Irrigation

The PE100 90° spigot multi bend (SDR 17) is the light-wall, cost-effective long-radius sweep bend — rated Water PN10 and Gas 6 Bar. It is the standard choice for farm stream crossings, rural irrigation mains and low-pressure gas networks where heavy-wall bends would add unnecessary cost.

Manufactured from certified virgin PE100 pipe (Borealis/Ineos grade), the multi bend is pre-formed into a smooth long-radius sweep with spigot ends sized for butt fusion. The lighter SDR 17 wall reduces weight and material cost per metre of buried line while still delivering dependable PN10 duty — ideal for long rural runs where every kilogram of wall thickness matters on the project budget.

Commonly used for farm stream and culvert crossings, rural irrigation mains, gravity-fed water lines, and low-pressure gas distribution, the multi bend eliminates field bending errors and reduces on-site welding. Sizes cover d20mm to d500mm, with standard long-radius sweeps (3D–10D) and custom radii produced to project drawings.

Note: Multi bends are pre-fabricated from certified PE100 pipe and subject to the same wall and pressure ratings as the parent pipe. Other wall classes (SDR 7.4 / 9 / 11) available on request. Certificates on request.

Long-radius bends are bulkier than moulded elbows and are shipped on wooden pallets or in crates to protect the sweep. Each piece is individually bagged and labelled with size, SDR, radius and batch number.
