The PE100 90° short spigot bend (SDR 17) is the light-wall, cost-effective compact 90° turn — rated Water PN10 and Gas 6 Bar. It pairs the space-saving short spigot end design with the lighter SDR 17 wall, for low-pressure irrigation meter boxes, rural valve pits and farm hydrant chambers where heavy-wall PN16 bends are over-spec.

Manufactured from virgin PE100 black polyethylene supplied by recognised polymer leaders such as Borealis and Ineos, the one-piece moulded construction produces a smooth bore with no seams. The short spigot ends still leave enough clamping length for a full-strength butt fusion weld per DVS 2207 / ISO 21307.

This is the fitting engineers reach for when a low-pressure rural or irrigation installation calls for a 90° turn inside a compact chamber — irrigation meter boxes, rural valve pits, farm hydrant pits, agricultural service boxes and low-pressure utility chambers. Sizes cover d20mm to d500mm, with d25-315mm held as standard stock and larger sizes produced on request.
