The PE100 90° short spigot bend (SDR 33) is the ultra light-wall, lowest-cost compact 90° turn — rated Water PN4 (0.4 MPa) for gravity-flow and low-head duty. It is the economical choice for gravity drainage pits, stock water trough boxes and rainwater harvesting chambers where pumped pressure is not present.

Manufactured from virgin PE100 black polyethylene supplied by recognised polymer leaders such as Borealis and Ineos, the one-piece moulded construction produces a smooth bore with no seams. The short spigot ends leave enough clamping length for a full-strength butt fusion weld per DVS 2207 / ISO 21307 — with adjusted heating and cooling times for the thinner SDR 33 wall.

This is the fitting engineers reach for when a low-cost, gravity-driven agricultural or drainage installation calls for a 90° turn inside a compact box or pit — gravity drainage pits, stock trough connection boxes, rainwater harvesting chambers, farm low-pressure service boxes and low-head field irrigation.
