The Flextee tapping tee with understrap provides a complete solution for jointing tapping tees to oval and coiled PE pipe, where conventional rigid saddles cannot seat correctly. The flexible body and electrofusion mat conform to the shape of the pipe, delivering secure and robust quality joints every time — without re-rounding clamps.

Installation is fast and simple by means of two screws — only a screwdriver is needed, removing the need for a top loading clamp. The sacrificial understrap keeps the tapping tee in place both during and after the electrofusion jointing process.

Manufactured from virgin PE100 black polyethylene with a 4mm automatic pin, rated PN16 for water and 10 bar for gas. Suitable for gas, water, mining and irrigation applications. Operating temperature range: -10°C to +40°C.
